Back Patio Concrete is Given a Lift in Wichita, KS
Jenni W. has been unable to use her backyard pool to settling concrete on the deck. The concrete was settling right next to the pool and she was worried it would become a tripping hazard. She decided to give Thrasher a call to see if we could lift the concrete.
System Design Specialist Max Huggins went out to the home and was able to come up with a solution for the deck. The team was able to lift and level the concrete with PolyLevel and then apply NexusPro Sealant to the joints to seal up the cracks to prevent water from getting into the concrete. Jenni was not only happy with the work done but impressed with the communication and thoroughness from the crew.
Uneven Driveway and Cracking Concrete Repaired in Lincoln, NE
Becky M. moved into her home a couple of months ago and was looking to start getting it back in order. Her driveway was uneven and the concrete was starting to crack. Looking for a long term solution, she decided to call Thrasher after receiving a referral from a friend, who had a great experience with us.
We sent System Design Specialist, Matt Rehn out to her home. He was able to identify that her driveway and garage were starting to crack due to street creep and she didn’t have her control joints caulked correctly. We installed a 3 part concrete protection system and compression guard, to fix the settling concrete and stop the street creep from impacting her driveway and garage.
Settled Concrete in Omaha, NE Lifted and Repaired
Berenice S was growing frustrated with the concrete on her back patio. Last year she had hired a concrete contractor and within a year, the entire patio was cracked up. She wanted to protect the space from further damage, so she decided to give up a call.
We sent System Design Specialist Mike Hoffman out to the home. He was able to identify that the soil underneath the concrete was unstable, which was causing the concrete to crack. To lift the concrete, we used PolyLevel to get the concrete back to the originally pour level as well as stabilize all of the concrete to prevent further settling. We then applied NexusPro to seal the joins and repair all of the cracks and to prevent pathways for water getting under the concrete.
Foundation Wall Stabilized in Des Moines, IA
New homeowners Kirk and Sue W. recently moved into their new home. Ready to start remodeling, they wanted to fix the basement so they could use it as storage. One of the walls had multiple cracks and they wanted to reduce as much moisture as they could from entering the home. Kirk and Sue decided to give Thrasher Foundation Repair a call.
We sent System Design Specialist Tyler Dopheide out to the home. The foundation wall that had multiple cracks in it was allowing water to enter the basement, which was allowing moisture to enter the home at a high level. We first installed PowerBraces to reduce further wall failure. Next, we installed WaterGuard and CleanSpace to reduce water and humidity from entering the home. Once the project was completed Kirk and Sue felt comfortable and reassured their basement would be free of further wall failure and water damage!
Old Rusted Gutters Replaced with Gutter Shutter in Clarinda, IA
Returning customers Scott and Jill K. were concerned about their gutters getting clogged, sagging and falling apart. They have lived in the home for a long time and still had the original gutters. Impressed with previous work Thrasher has done on their home, Scott and Jill gave us another call.
Service Techinican Chuck Kain went out to the home to evaluate the gutters. The gutters were galvanized, rusting and failing. Chuck recommended Gutter Shutter, a clog free and seamless gutter. We removed the old gutters and downspouts. After measuring for an exact fit, we installed Gutter Shutters and buried all the downspouts so they would direct the roof water away from the house and foundation. Scott and Jill were very happy with how the gutters looked and impressed with the crew.
