Thrasher Foundation Repair Before & After Photos

Gary and Donna have a lot of tall trees around their home. After the winter months, they noticed a lot of leaves and debris in their gutters and were concerned about their buried downspouts getting clogged. They called Thrasher, and we sent out Service Technician Bob Dunn to take a look. After inspection, Bob found a lot of debris in their downspouts and suggested our RainDrop Gutter Guards. These Gutter Guards do exactly what it sounds like: guards that protect your gutters from leaves, twigs, and other debris. It's 100% maintenance-free and self-cleaning. After installing, Gary and Donna told us how happy they are now that they don't have to get up on a ladder and clean out their gutters!

The home was experiencing significant street creep, sinking concrete, and big voids under the concrete. We used a compression guard to prevent further street creep and reverse anchors to avoid the back wall of the garage from tipping over any further. 

The customer had water coming into her basement from her window, walls and floor joints. 

We waterproofed in the problem areas by installing CleanSpace, well ducts, and a poly well. These all helped remove water from the basement and keep the area dry for her grandkids.  

The driveway was cracking so bad they thought they surely had to replace it all. Our crew lifted and leveled all broken concrete even an area that a roofing truck damaged with their level truck levers. We also found what was causing the settlement problem and buried the downspouts away from the concrete stopping the soil from being washed out.

Mike and his wife really wanted to remodel their basement. When they started demo, they realized their foundation was settling. They knew that if they continued to invest in their remodel the settlement issue would just end up damaging all of their hard work. They had to fix the settlement issue first. 

When they called us with their problem, we sent out Daniel Hilkermann to inspect. We found that Mike's home was settling on the north side, pretty substantially. He had bad cracks along the exterior that were affecting the drywall inside. To fix the solution, we installed our Model 288 Push Pier System. The Push Pier System utilizes high-strength round steel tube sections and a load transfer bracket to stabilize and lift settling foundations. 

Mike is a shop teacher and actually brought his students out to see the installation of the piers! Everyone was super excited to see our process and gain knowledge of something most people aren't familiar with. Mike got an opportunity to teach his students and fix his settling foundation in one!
