Doug and Tonya W. wanted a house outside of the city where they could have a nice plot of land. The house they bought in Warrensburg had a lot of promise, but also needed a lot of work before they could move in. They had several contractors helping them to renovate the house, but there was one problem that needed more than a fresh coat of paint - the walls of the basement were clearly bowing inward, cracking and allowing water to leak into the basement through the cracks. This was a big concern for them, and so they called Thrasher. 

 

After completing a thorough inspection and explaining to the homeowners how we planned to resolve the problem, we go to work. To restore stability to the walls and prevent future bowing, we installed a series of PowerBrace support beams along the basement walls. Then, we installed a full waterproofing system to ensure the space would remain clean, dry and safe. This included drain tile along the basement perimeter, a sump pit and pump, and vapor barrier along each of the walls to keep moisture at bay.

 

These homeowners were very pleased with the end result, and appreciate the peace of mind that comes from knowing the foundation of their home is secure.
