Twin Oaks Mobile Home Community has storm shelters for their community members. In these storm shelters, the walls were cracking and unsafe for residents during a storm. After considering options for a year, they decided to move forward with us.

We sent System Design Specialist Tobias Conrady to discuss out foundation repair options and coordinate with their corporate officers and 3rd party engineering firm for the best solution. After discussion with these groups, Tobias sent our team to install Geo-lock Anchors to anchor the wall back and secure the structure of the storm shelters. Our team utilized roughly 68 anchors along four walls, measuring approximately 96 feet.

He called Thrasher because he knew of our excellent professionalism, products, and training! One of our System Design Specialists, Nate Franson, went out to meet Danny. After doing the inspection of his home, Nate found one of the walls of the home had deflected over an inch. This caused the water sitting outside of the home to find its way into the basement through the cracks and cold joint. Nate proposed Thrasher install our WaterGuard and CleanSpace system to tackle the consist water issue. CleanSpace looks like a plastic certain that goes on the wall to catch any water making its way in. It is a barrier between the wall and the basement. The water will trickle down the CleanSpace and into the WaterGuard. WaterGuard is our draining channel, which will direct the water to a sump pump and out of the home! Nate also proposed that Thrasher install wall anchors. The wall anchors will help stabilize the wall, help prevent any future deflection, and over time can straighten the wall into its right place. Danny loved this idea and we got started right away!  Danny loved how quick and clean the crew was, as well as professional and helpful. During a night of intense rain after our install, Danny's wife woke up and ran to the basement. To their relief, our systems were working perfectly! This homeowner had lived in this home ever since he was born. It is a family home that has been passed down through the last couple generations. The add-on in the back of the home had started to settle more and more to point where it was affecting the house. Cracks on the walls started to form and the floors were falls in as well. He called Thrasher, and one of our System Design Specialists, Sheldon Sharp, came out to meet him. Sheldon did an inspection, and determined poor drainage from the beginning and throughout the years had gotten water down underneath the foundation and caused voids under the stem of the wall. This started to settle and crack which made the add-on addition pull off of the house. Sheldon proposed we do Piers all around the outside of the foundation to lift the add-on up and make it more even. This would also help so no other supporting walls would pull down. This homeowner had some Thrasher products installed in her already, and during our Annual Maintenance check, it was discovered that her home had a lot of water in the crawlspace. This was causing high humidity, as well as mold growth on the floor joints. This was effecting the SmartJacks Supports in the crawlspace holding up the sagging floors by causing settlement of the soil that they sit on. There was a lot of cracking along the crawlspace foundation wall, which is showing movement of the foundation as well as letting more water in. Brad Metzger, Service Tech, was out for this appointment when he found these issues. The homeowner was unaware of the issues taking place in her crawlspace, right beneath her feet. When discussing what was found during the service, she was compelled to look into the crawlspace and see with her own eyes how bad the problem was. Brad proposed encapsulation of the crawlspace with a perimeter drain lines attaching to the sump pump in the crawlspace. This would discharge the water outside of the home at a safe distance. Brad also proposed burying downspouts around the home to get that water away from the foundation. This homeowner was happy to have Thrasher help, and there is no doubt she has the peace of mind she needed. 

This homeowner has some slanted and settled concrete on his back patio. He wanted to make sure the deck would not collapse. He had family and friends who had Thrasher systems in their home, and heard great things. He gave us a call and System Design Specialist, AJ LaVoie, came out to meet with him. AJ noticed the soil under the concrete slabs at the patio and deck had been washed out over time, causing the sinking. AJ went to the homeowner and proposed we use a combination of Polylevel foam and NexusPro joint and crack sealant to loft and protect the slabs from having issues again in the future. This new homeowner in Wichita, KS had just bought his new home a few weeks before calling Thrasher. He wanted to get a few places on his driveway straightened up before he got all moved in and settled. This driveway had a few spots that had settled creating a tripping hazard, as well as creating an annoying bump that he had to drive over before entering his garage. After having us come out and look at his driveway, he loved the information we gave him about how we could help and was confident our crew would get the job done right. 

The team found that the soil underneath the concrete had begun to wash out due to water getting under the concrete. We decided to use our PolyLevel Foam to fill the voids and lift the concrete back into its original place. This foam expands to lift and support the slab without adding any extra weight to the soil underneath. 

Our customer can now feel safe about moving into his new home without any tripping hazards or dealing with the annoying bump before his garage entry. He was extremely satisfied with the work done and couldn't thank us enough. 

This homeowner in Bel Aire, KS had just moved into their brand-new home just one month before calling Thrasher with problems. Their home has many problems that they felt the builder failed to address before they moved into their home. One of which was the sump pump in their basement had a discharge line that only went two feet away from the foundation of their home. They could already see where this would be causing major issues, and not wanting to wait for the builder they decided to have us come help solve the problem as soon as possible.  

After our crew came out, they determined the best solution would be to bury the discharge line and run the line down a hill further away from the home. If not moved further away this homeowner would be at risk of major foundation problems in the future. Burying the discharge line gives the home a cleaner look while still getting the job done of moving the water out and away from the home. 

Our customer couldn't thank us enough for coming out and getting the job done quickly. It was one less task they had to deal with around their new home and could not have to worry about it now. 

A couple living in Kechi, KS has been having problems with their house for many years now before they finally decided to get someone out to look at it. They were wanting to finish the rooms in the basement but were never able to because the basement leaked water every time it rained. Wanting to stay in their house long-term, and tired of cleaning up the water, they finally decided it was time to get the issue resolved. 

Upon our inspection of the home, the team found the foundation walls were failing and starting to fall. This was allowing the water to come in freely causing damage to the walls and the flooring. We supported the walls with our PowerBrace wall support system, stopping the walls from moving and further inward. Lastly, the team decided to install our TripleSafe sump pump with a battery backup, so if any time in the future water did leak in they were protected. 

This couple was very pleased with our professionalism and ability to get the job done right. They could now live worry-free in their room and finish up any rooms in the basement they previously planned.  

This homeowner had back surgery recently and wanted all of the uneven areas of his concrete leveled to avoid trip hazards. He had a couple other bids before, but wanted Thrashers opinion as well. System Design Specialist, Jeff Schlimm, came out to meet with him. Jeff did his inspection and how the extensive damage to one area of his driveway. His walkway to his front door had settled due to washout over time. Jeff took these findings and went back to the homeowner with a solution. The homeowner was impressed with the inspection and how we showed him the problem and what caused it versus just giving him a number. We used PolyLevel to lift and stabilize the slab, and NexusPro to seal the joints and cracks that were letting water through and causing the tripping hazards. The homeowner was trilled with how the project went and we know he has the peace of mind he needs for his driveway. 

Jean called Thrasher out to look at her settled garage floor. She was worried about the tripping hazard the cracks and settled concrete in the garage were causing. After trying to cover the problem areas for years with carpet, she decided it was time to take care of the issue the right way. Jean is local Wichita resident and wanted to use the company she could trust the most with her home. She read great reviews about how respectful Thrasher employees are while providing work in customers homes. She gave a call and System Design Specialist, Trenton Songster, came out to meet with him. Trenton did his inspection and found the drought we had over this past couple years was causing the clay soil to crack and shrink. This left large voids where the soil settled. The heavy concrete in her garage continued to settle nearly 6 inches and became a hazard to walk on and park a car in. To fix the problem, Trenton proposed we install our Polylevel foam through small holes drilled into the concrete. We were able to lift the garage a full 6 inches, bringing it completely back to the original level it was at when it was first poured 50 years ago. Jean also wanted her driveway worked on to fill the voids. Jean was so happy with the finished product. She is happy if she is puts her home up on the market she can get the most out of it. 

Trey was experiencing some minor concrete concerns, and did not want to have any tripping hazards arise. He knew of Thrasher and work we do and stand behind, so he gave us a call. System Design Specialist, James Menden, came out to meet with him. James did his inspection, and found they had a bit of settlement on the driveway and areas of the garage. This was being caused by washout, when the dirt beneath the slab washes away from water getting to it. James took these findings and came back to Trey with a solution. James proposed we install PolyLevel to relevel the concrete and stabilize it, and NexusPro to seal all the joints. Both of these products are waterproof, so they help prevent any further washout. Trey loved this solution and we sent out our installation team. There is no doubt they have the peace of mind they need without worrying about any more tripping hazards. 

This family was nervous about the wall bowing. They wanted to get all repairs done before retirement so they could spend their money on wants instead of needs. Their neighbors advised that Thrasher was the best option, they were pleased with our service so they encouraged Terry to give us a call. System Design Specialist, Trip Randolph, came out to meet with them. Trip did his inspection, and found the walls were bowing and had almost 3 inches of deflection. He took these findings and came back to the homeowners with a solution. We were able to use our Geo-Lock wall anchors to stabilize the walls for them. These are wall plates that had a rod going out into the yard horizontally, to help straighten the wall back out over time. There is no doubt they have the peace of mind they need for their home. 

This homeowner wanted to make sure the concrete doesn't continue to become uneven and creating tripping hazards. They had us out previously for another job, so they knew our solutions worked. System Design Specialist, Brad Metzger, came out to meet with them. He did his inspection and found there was a slab of the front drive that has settled due to soil erosion and was causing a tripping hazard for the family. He took these findings and came back to the family with a solution. We injected PolyLevel under the slab to raise and level the slab back out. To seal the joints we used NexusPro, which helps prevent water from getting under the slab. The homeowner loved this solution, and are happy the trip hazard is taken care in their drive. 

Greg B. knew his concrete wasn't great. However, he was planning on moving so didn't want to address it. After deciding that moving wasn't in their current plans, he decided that it was time to address the concrete and do something about it. He didn't want the problem getting worse and wanted to know any water would be staying away from the home. He has had Thrasher out in the past, so he knew he trusted us. He knew of our warranties and service behind our projects, and gave us another call. System Design Specialist, Tony Taylor, came out to meet with him. Tony did his inspection and noticed the control joints had cracked open and dirt was getting washed out. Greg's concrete also had signs of street creep on an interior wall from the street pushing through his driveway onto his house. Tony went to Greg with these findings and a solution. Compression Guard was used to stop the street creep and create a true expansion joint. PolyLevel was used to lift a couple areas and stabilize the remaining areas from future settling. NexusPro was used to seal up the joints and cracks on the driveway. Both of these products are also waterproof, helping prevent any more washout. Greg loved this solution and there is no doubt they will be worrying about their concrete any longer. 

Heather and her family were noticing their concrete sidewalk sinking. Their main concern was the tripping hazard this created for their kids who spend a lot of time playing out front. Trenton did his inspection and found the concrete has settled due to the intense drought we had this year. When the clay soil that is beneath the concrete gets hot and dry it shrinks. The heavy concrete will settle into the void beneath causing cracks and creating tripping hazards. Trenton took these findings back to Heather with a solution. To address the settled concrete we installed our expanding foam, PolyLevel, beneath the concrete. This helps raise and stabilize the concrete. We then sealed the joints and cracks to prevent any more washout. The family was impressed with the look of the driveway, and we know they have peace of mind for the safety of their kids. 

This family takes a lot of pride in their home want to ensure everything is in good order for many years to come. They were worried about their basement wall moving, and being a past Thrasher customer, they wanted us back out. Specialist, James Menden, came out to meet with them. During his inspection, he found the basement was showing signs of deflection. With these findings, he went back to the family with a solution. James proposed to install PowerBraces as they were particular about their yard. They loved this solution and we sent out our installation team. They loved the system and now have the peace of mind their basement walls won't cave in. 

This family wanted to know they were safe in their home. They were experiencing settling and doors sticking. They knew of Thrasher and our reputation, so they gave us a call. System Design Specialist, Tobias Conrady, came out to meet with them. Tobias did his inspection and found there was settling on the corners of the home. They had floor deflection due to the main beam on the North end of the home. There was some concrete settling around the pool as well, and they were worried about their guests tripping. These issues were all mainly caused by changes in the soil, movement and from this years drought, that caused everything to start sinking. Tobias took these findings and went back to the family with a solution. To permanently fix these issues, we started with push piers. This allowed us to lift and stabilize the corners of the home. To address the concerns around the pool, we used our PolyLevel and NexusPro to lift, level, stabilize, and seal the joints. The family loved this solution and were happy we could solve multiple problems for them.

Betty plans on living in this home for the long run and does want her issues to get any worse. She has put a lot of money into renovations over the last couple years to get the house where she wants it. She had us do work for her in the past, and knew she wanted us back out, so she gave us a call. System Design Specialist, Austin Sharon, came out to meet with her. Austin did his inspection and found one wall in her basement was bowing in and failing. To combat this issue and give it a permanent fix, Austin proposed we use CarbonArmor Straps. These straps are high strength, carbon fiber reinforced polymer systems that prevent any more inward movement of the wall. Betty loved this idea, and we sent out our installation team. She was happy we could get it fixed before it turned into a bigger issue! 

Cheri is planning on leaving her home to her grandson. She is also going to remodel the basement and does not want to finish it and have water destroy her work. Cheri and her daughter did their research and found Thrasher to be the right fit for them. They loved their all the reviews and believed in our products. System Design Specialist, Clint Gerber, came out to meet with them. Clint did his inspection and found water was entering the home through the cold joint near the wall and basement slab. Hydrostatic pressure was building up and pushing the water through the cold joint. The downspouts were dumping next to the home and allow water to travel straight down the wall. To resolve this issue, we installed WaterGuard and CleanSpace throughout the entire basement. CleanSpace collects any water coming in We also installed an egress to create another avenue to exit the basement. Cheri was very happy with the project as she doesn't have to worry about the water anymore and are able to remodel the basement. 

This homeowner was getting water in the basement after installing flooring and refinishing the trim. They wanted to ensure the basement was safe and would not get wet or ruin the floor. They knew of Thrasher and the products we offer, so they gave us a call. System Design Specialist, Tobias Conrady, came out to meet with them. Tobias did his inspection and found the water leak was small, coming from the negative grade between the cold joint and slab. This was allowing water to freely flow against the foundation in the area of the leak. To combat this issue, we installed PolyLevel foam to fill the void and lift it as much as possible to create as much positive grade. We also used NexusPro to seal the joints and between the slab and foundation wall. The homeowner loved this solution and there is no doubt they will not have to worry about water leaking again. 

These homeowners were worried about cracks in their forever home. They wanted to fix the problem now before it got worse and cause more expensive repairs in the future.  They wanted a reliable and trustworthy company with a good warranty to back up the work, so he called Thrasher. System Design Specialist, Trenton Songster, came out to meet with them. Trenton did his inspection and found there were multiple factors causing these cracks and settlement. The main issue was improper water management. The water eroded the soil underneath the foundation footing, causing voids. The weight of the home was pushing down on the foundation causing it to crack and settle. To fix this issue, we installed push piers on most of the perimeter of the home. This allowed us to permanently stabilize the home's foundation and provide lift to the side that had settled. The homeowner love this solution, and there is no doubt they have peace of mind of their forever home. 

Becky was experiencing humidity in the crawlspace and was worried about mold coming back in the basement. Becky reached out to Thrasher because she had been looking for a well reviewed and reputable company. System Design Specialist, Trenton Songster, came out to meet with her. Trenton did his inspection and found there was no water coming into the basement, but did have a damp crawlspace underneath along with an add on kitchen  that was causing high humidity levels in the entire basement. To control the soil moisture in the crawlspace, we used our CleanSpace encapsulation. This sealed off the soil and blocked moisture from getting into the basement. There is no doubt Becky has peace of mind of her home. 

Pat is going to be selling her home within the next year and wants to ensure she doesn't lose a buyer due to repairs needed around the home. She had many connections throughout the area, but knew Thrasher was the company to go with. System Design Specialist, Clint Gerber, came out to meet with her. Clint did his inspection and found there were multiple areas of her concrete that had settled and caused tripping hazards. Water was getting under the concrete and eroding soil. Due to the past drought, the soil had dried out, creating voids. To resolve this issue, We installed PolyLevel to lift and level the concrete back into place. We also used NexusPro to seal the joints and cracks to prevent water from getting through and under the concrete again. SealantPro was then added to the top to protect the surface of the concrete. There is no doubt she has peace of mind knowing she has one less thing off her plate for her home to sell. 

Ryan and Tyler were out in the rain diagnosing a customer's yard in the rain. Now that's dedication!
