He had deteriorated concrete at his old home due the weather, and knew he wanted to protect his new home from this. He called Thrasher and one of our System Design Specialists, Bobby Bartow, went to meet him. Bobby did notice that his concrete was newer, but since he wanted to be proactive, Bobby proposed our Sealant-Pro. Sealant-Pro permanently seals the concrete by penetrating the surface and preventing moisture from absorbing into the concrete. These homeowner had installed a French Drain nearly 15 years ago. They noticed recently the side of house was getting water inside, and imagined the drain was clogging. This includes WaterGuard and Cleanspace along the wall to efficiently capture the water that was coming at the cold joint and the walls. Cleanspace is a plastic, waterproof shield that is attached to the walls. When the water comes in, the Cleanspace is a barrier between the wall and the basement. The water trickles down and into the WaterGuard. WaterGuard is our drainage channeling system. Once the water enters WaterGuard, it flows to the sump pump and out of the home! Tom discussed this with the homeowners and we got started! These homeowners were so happy to know there will not be anymore water issues in their home! 

John has just moved into town, and has a traveling job. When he was back in town for a weekend, noticed water was coming in in several areas of his home. He decided to take off part of the drywall to find where the water was coming from, and found there was more water than he imagined all along the wall. There was high readings of water concentration on the outside of home near the footing, letting water seep into the home. Tom proposed we use our WaterGuard system at the cold joint to capture the water, and CleanSpace, which is our water vapor system, to catch any water from potential cracks in the walls. One the project was complete, John was so happy with the results. He was happy to get quality work done, quickly, so he can refinish his basement without worries of water getting in.
