The homeowner has been concerned with the foundation under his front porch. Water comes through the large crack in the wall when it rains and is worried if it's not fixed soon, it will cave in. Other contractors recommended demolishing the porch and foundation underneath it and then replacing it. When he learned about the solutions we offered, he was thrilled. The south wall had 4" of deflection that started near the ceiling and worked its way down along the length of the wall. This was due to years of hydrostatic pressure and the wall finally gave in and began leaking water. For this problem, we waterproofed and installed Powerbrace beams. We fastened the well duct drain to the ceiling and sealed it off with nexus pro. This would allow any water that may come in from above to drain into the waterproofing system and keep the space below dry.
