After heavy rains, we've been noticing water getting into our basement. We have a walkout basement, but the water is coming in on the front side of the house. The water spout outside that corner appears to be okay and we added an extension to it too, but that didn't seem to help with today's rain. Sump pump is installed and has been working as well and had a plumber look and deemed not a plumbing issue. Wanted someone to take a look to help find us a solution to this problem and hopefully help guide us towards repairing any damage after we've gotten things fixed.

Steve has trusted Thrasher in the past to waterproof his basement, so he knew we would take care of his gutters. Steve's existing gutters had no covers and were full of leaves and debris. Clogged gutters make the gutter overflow causing to land next to the foundation. This can cause a lot of issues including eater in the basement of bowing basement walls. To combat this issue we installed Gutter Shutter. This is a 6 inch gutter with built in hood to keep leaves and debris out. It is super strong and is attached with two screws every two feet rather than one spike that has no threads. Steve loved these gutters and there is no doubt he has peace of mind for his home.

After the inspection, our crew found that a tree began to grow underneath causing the sidewalk to raise creating this tripping hazard. The team determined to use PolyLevel foam to help our customer solve their problem. PolyLevel foam fills the voids under the concrete matching the space caused by the tree and giving an even surface for the concrete to settle on. The foam lifts and expands under the concrete giving support to the sidewalk without adding any extra weight to the soil underneath. 

This homeowner now has a safe sidewalk for them and their guests to walk on without the concern of tripping on the uneven surface.
