Thrasher Foundation Repair Before & After Photos

Geilesha K. was noticing some moisture in her recently purchased home in Des Moines, IA. After removing some of the drywall she discovered that the foundation was bowing in and crumbling. System Design Specialist Nicholas Hruska went out to Geilesha’s home. During the inspection, he was able to identify that two of the walls were crumbling and bowing several inches. The crew installed PowerBraces and a wall anchor system to permanently stabilize the foundation. Then applied ShotLock over the walls, making them look new again. Geilesha was extremely happy with how the walls looked when the project was finished and very happy with the efficiency of the crew.

Ann L. is a homeowner in Lincoln, NE that had concerns about the concrete on her driveway and sidewalk. She noticed that the concrete issues were beginning to have a domino effect on the foundation of her home. The concrete was uneven, cracked, and there were gaps in the control joints allowing water to breach through. Our System Design Specialist, Nico Lemmers, arrived at the Lincoln, NE home to analyze the sunken and broken concrete. To repair the concrete, Ann opted to have our team install our 3-part concrete protection system – PolyLevel, NexusPro, and SealantPro. PolyLevel is installed first by injecting the foam through a pencil eraser-sized hole to permanently lift and level the concrete. Next, NexusPro sealer is applied to all cracks and control joints to protect against water intrusion. Then, SealantPro is sprayed onto the surface to prevent any stains and deterioration caused by everyday use.

Estel T. in South Sioux City, NE was looking to do some maintenance on his home. For a while now he been having problems with water leaking in his basement. System Design Jon Young went out to Estel’s home. He was able to identify that there was no waterproofing system in place. The crew installed WaterGuard, an interior basement drainage system. Also, to keep the walls dry, they encapsulated the areas with CleanSpace, so water would no longer come through. From start to finish Estel thought the process went smoothly and was happy not to have to worry about the water anymore.

David B. in Overland Park, KS was struggling with his concrete. He previously had the area mudjacked but found this was not working. He noticed that there were critters digging underneath creating voids and the concrete was becoming unlevel again. First, we leveled the concrete with PolyLevel, which a foam that is injected into the concrete. Then we sealed the cracks and joints with NexusPro Joint Sealant to prevent water from creating future voids. Then we put a protective layer over all the concrete

Doug and Mary C. have plans to sell their home in Omaha, NE within the next few years and wanted to maximize its value. PolyLevel is installed first by injecting the foam underneath the concrete to permanently lift and level it. NexusPro sealer is then applied to all cracks and joints to prevent any water from breaching the surface in the future. In addition to the two-part system, the crew installed our CompressionGuard, a 3-inch-wide expansion joint, to give the concrete a range of motion during the change of seasons and prevent damage to the foundation.
