Sealing Concrete Joints in Windsor Heights, IA
This homeowner had her concrete joints sealed by another company, however they did not seal her entire driveway. She noticed that the seal was already starting to crack, and she was frustrated, so she gave us a call. We sent System Design Specialist Tyler Bovee to see what joints needed to be sealed, and to determine which joints needed to be resealed. The homeowner was thankful that we did her whole driveway completely and with a quality product. Check out her sealed concrete!
Deck Support in Winterset, IA
This homeowner tried to lift her concrete deck with big box store jacks, but it sank more and cracked the step. She was frustrated with this, so when she looked for companies that could stabilize her step, she gave us a call first.
We sent System Design Specialist Tyler Bovee to inspect the current lifting jacks under the homeowner's deck to determine what we could do to properly support the deck. Tyler found that the concrete deck was too heavy for the store bought jacks, and that the weight of the deck is pushing the jacks down further. He discussed this with the homeowner, then called for a crew to get to work on supporting this deck. One of our crews came out and installed SmartJacks in order to bear the weight of the concrete deck, then they used NexusPro to seal and repair the crack in the step.
The homeowner was very happy with the results of her deck repair. Check out her newly repaired deck!
Sump Pump Replacement in Ankeny, IA
This homeowner has previously used our waterproofing services, however she did not replace her older sump pump at that time. The waterproofing solutions were working well for her, however her sump pump had stopped working, so she gave us a call. We had Service Technician Braydon Aker return to the homeowner's home with a new TripleSafe Sump Pump System ready to be installed. Once Braydon was able to install the TripleSafe, the homeowner was very happy with all of her waterproofing solutions. She was so appreciative of all the work we had done for her basement to be dry. Sunken AC Concrete Pad Lifted in Wichita, KS
This homeowner needed to replace his AC units and he thought this would be a good time to repair the concrete underneath the AC units as well. After looking at the AC units' concrete pad, he thought the only solution would be to break out the concrete and repour a new pad for the new units. He wanted to get a second opinion before he decided on anything, so he gave us a call.
We sent System Design Specialist AJ LaVoie to inspect the concrete slab and determine if it could be fixed without pouring a new slab. AJ say that the soil underneath the AC pad concrete and the connecting sidewalk had eroded over the years, leaving an enormous void underneath it. While he was shocked by the size of this concrete void, AJ knew that he could stabilize it, so he discussed this option with the homeowner. The homeowner was skeptical at first, as this was a massive void under his concrete, but after hearing other options, he gained confidence that we had the right solutions for him. We sent an installation crew to use PolyLevel foam and NexusPro joint sealant to lift, level, and seal the AC pad concrete as well as the sidewalk.
The homeowner was amazed at the lift of his concrete. He was so impressed with how hard the crew worked and he is so excited about how his concrete looks now that he doesn't need to replace it. Check out the lift on this concrete pad and sidewalk!
Street Creep Stopped in Seward, NE
This rental property owner was worried because this rental home he was currently renting to college students was showing signs of damage. There were cracks in the walls in the basement, and there are bedrooms in the basement, so the owner wanted to ensure that his tenants were safe when living in his rental property. This owner had previously hired our services for his other properties, so he decided to give us a call for this property.
We sent Service Technician Spencer Johnson to inspect the property's foundation and basement to determine what was causing these wall cracks to appear. Spencer found that one of the foundation walls was leaning inwards, to the point where the brick siding was breaking and splitting from the home. He also saw there there were cracks in the wall from the severe deflection of this siding more than likely all caused by street creep. After discussing solutions with the owner and determining an installation time, our team got to work installing PowerBraces to reinforce the wall and move it back to its original position over time. The team also installed Compression Guards on the driveway to act as a buffer against street creep.
The rental property owner was very pleased with the work that was done on his property. Check out how the PowerBraces have supported the wall!
