Gutter Replacement

  • 95% of our gutter installation projects take no longer than a day, with most taking just ¾ of a working day. However, larger homes could take 2-3 days depending on their size.

  • It's common for roofing companies to offer gutter installation as part of their collective services. However, gutters are actually more related to your foundation than your roof. At Thrasher Foundation Repair, we offer gutter installation to homeowners because we take a holistic approach to foundation repair and protection. If we provide foundation repair along with basement waterproofing repair, we provide the services that will identify your issue at its root cause.

  • Absolutely. In fact, the number one cause of foundation damage is inadequate drainage. Gutter installation is crucial for your home's water management system.

  • The cost of your gutter installation can be affected by many variables, including gutter material, gutter type, house size, number of downspouts, and number of corners. At Thrasher Foundation Repair, we install a complete, covered gutter system called GutterShutter™. This system includes the gutter system itself, gutter protection, and gutter drainage to properly divert water away from your home's foundation, keeping your home and family safe for years to come.

  • Technically, gutters should be installed at ¼ in. per foot of slope, but it can vary because homes settle. When installing gutters, we take two things into account - aesthetics and functionality. We want your gutter system to both look good and work properly, so we may suggest adding an additional downspout to achieve this.

  • Our GutterShutter™ system is a six-inch gutter system. The larger the gutter, the more volume of water it can handle - especially in short bursts. Narrower gutters will work fine for light, steady rain. The downside of having a larger gutter is there is a higher chance of catching debris, which is why it's so important to have a full gutter protection system.

  • Installing gutters can be extremely difficult, especially for two-story homes. We care about your health and safety - because of this, we advise all of our clients to opt for professional gutter installation.

  • Seamless gutters are simply another attempt at making gutter systems as durable and efficient as possible. And they do tend to last longer and leak less than traditional gutters. However, when considering whether or not seamless gutters are worth it, it's necessary to take into consideration the other features of the gutter system.

Personal Information

Recently Thrasher started to offer, Gutter Shutter, a guaranteed premium gutter that will never clog, sag or pull away from your home.  As water intrusion specialists we understand how important it is to keep water away from your foundation. Because of that we wanted only the best product in the market available to our clients.

Our downspouts are double the size; 3" x 4" (12 square inches) instead of a conventional 2x3" (six square inches).

Our gutters have a hood that keeps out leaves and debris. They install under the drip edge, not under the shingles. They feature an exclusive high back system too keep water off your wood and fascia boards. Brackets support the back of the gutter, front of  the gutter and the hood. Extra large 6" gutter size carries 20% more water than standard 5" gutters. They are also heavy, 032 Aluminum I thicker than regular gutters to precent sagging and distortion. They also offer a 50 year paint warranty which is factory applied and oven cured.

The problem with most gutter systems is that lots of water comes off your roof. In fact, a 2,500 square-foot roof will shed 1,550 gallons of water in a 1" rain!

Leaves and debris clog gutters and they will fill with water and overflow against your house and foundation. Water weighs 8 lbs. per gallon - and all that weight causes them to sag and pull way. Ice is heavy too, and snow blocks the flow of water

Gutter Shutter is North America's leading manufacturer of leaf and debris free systems. Since our founding in 2003, Gutter Shutter has been committed to providing homeowners with a permanent, comprehensive solution for clogged, failing gutter systems. Our gutters are guaranteed to never clog, never leak, never sag, and never pull away from your home.

When you partner with Gutter Shutter, you will be protected from the roof damage, water damage, and ladder accidents associated with clogged, ineffective gutter systems. Let Gutter Shutter provide peace of mind with our patented, proven gutter system.
