Foundation Repair Photo Album: Old Foundation Gets New Life
This customer in Juniata, NE, was worried that his failing shelf wall was eventually going to push his utility line over, which would damage his pressure tank. He was also concerned that if he did get water in the basement, he wouldn't be able to get it out. Our Service Design Specialist, Joe Dearth, went out and took a look at it. He assessed that several years of washout and dry-out have caused the structure to buckle under pressure and weight. To fix the problem, we installed EverBrace to support the failing brick walls and shelf wall. We then installed a triple-safe sump system with a buried discharge to help in the event that water gets in the basement.
