This family has lived here for several years. They noticed their porch was getting worse and worse over time. They know its not going to fix itself. They had a few bad experiences with contractors in the past, but trusted our experience, so they gave Thrasher a call. System Design Specialist, Anthony Salcedo, came out to meet with the family. He knew this would be something we could help this family with, so he went to the family with a plan and solution. They were very excited to get this project started, so we sent out our installation team. Click through the photos to see the process of how we fixed this porch!
Concrete Porch Repair
This family front porch started to settle over the years. They knew this was an issue that would no go away on this own. So they called Thrasher! Due to water finding its way under the slab, it caused washout and left the slab with little to no support to lay. This causes the heavy concrete to start to sink.
Front Porch Settling
Due to years of washout from poor drainage system, the soil under the front porch started to shift and settle. Our Concrete Protection System can help this!
Sinking Porch Slab
There was major sinking on this front porch at this homeowners home. The soil underneath the slab had continually shifted due to moisture from bad drainage.
Uneven Porch Repair
Overall, you can see the shifting of the concrete. There was washout from poor drainage systems, and this caused the slab to start settle and crack. This also effected the pillars, which are a component to the top of the porch. By using our Concrete Protection System, we helped lift, level and stabilize all of these areas.
PolyLevel Installed
The Polylevel was injected under the slab to lift and level back into place. By doing this, we also helped save the integrity of pillars.
PolyLevel and NexusPro
Before, this area was very sunken and shifted. Now, because of the Polylevel and NexusPro it looks like new! Polylevel was injected under the concrete to make it level with the rest, and NexusPro was used to seal between the joints. Both of these products are waterproof, so they prevent any more further washout of soil underneath.
NexusPro
NexusPro is used here to fill in the cracking that happened when the slab started to settle. This product is waterproof as well, prevent water from seeping through the cracks and under the slab.
