This homeowner was living alone, and could not get to the basement very often. She was worried about the walls caving in between the times she could not get down there. She knew of Thrasher, because she knew of others that have had our work. She appreciated the things she heard about us, and gave us a call. System Design Specialist, Kevin French, came out to meet with her. Kevin saw the walls were bowing badly. He determined it was from the soil that was surrounding the walls. Kevin proposed we use Power Braces. Power Braces are full length wall stabilizers. They are installed on the wall, and overtime can be torqued to try to get the wall back into place. If a crack is going up to down, it means it could just be a single wall concern.
