This homeowner in Emporia, KS, is always on top of their home repairs, so when they noticed their basement carpet was wet, they didn’t hesitate to call Thrasher for a basement waterproofing solution. Most of the moisture was building up in a bedroom basement closet, but then expanded out into the room’s floor. For a permanent solution, we installed a combination of three waterproofing products – WaterGuard, CleanSpace, and a TripleSafe sump pump system.

Main Source of the Leak

This basement closet was the main source of water intrusion, so the process began by clearing it out and removing the carpet.

Carpet Removal

Our teams began removing the carpet in the bedroom and other problematic areas in preparation for WaterGuard and CleanSpace installation.

Closet Fully Prepped

After removing the closet's contents and carpet, it was ready for waterproofing installation.

Demo Work

The final steps of preparation included the removal of the drywall for areas where CleanSpace was going to be installed.

TripleSafe Sump Pump Installation

The homeowner opted to have our team install our TripleSafe sump pump system in the closet closest to the main source of the leak. On the top half, CleanSpace was starting to be installed.

Final Installation

The TripleSafe sump pump had been fully installed, and CleanSpace waterproof barrier was applied to the full height of the wall to keep the basement dry year-round.

Our WaterGuard basement drainage system was installed around the perimeter of the basement and CleanSpace was applied to the full height of the walls.
